Our autonomy and mapping system is designed to work across multiple aerial platforms, but not every drone delivers the same level of performance, integration, or mission suitability. This page highlights the drones we recommend based on real-world evaluations and current system compatibility, including options ready for immediate deployment today as well as platforms we’re actively integrating. Where a drone is compatible but not yet fully integrated (or not a primary recommendation), we explain why, so you can choose the right airframe for your environment, payload needs, and operational constraints. Please bookmark this page—we’ll keep it updated as integrations progress and new recommendations are added.
Freefly Astro Max is fully integrated with our system today. Customers are welcome to purchase Freefly drones for immediate use.
CHCNAV X500 has performed well in our evaluations, and integration work is currently underway. We expect full system compatibility in Q2 2026.
DJI M300 and M350 platforms remain fully compatible with our system. The M400 is a larger airframe compared to the M350 and X500, which may impact accessibility in more constrained environments. In addition, the M400 introduces additional external components required for payload-level control of the platform, increasing integration complexity relative to more tightly integrated options such as the X500. For these reasons, the M400 is not yet integrated with our system.
While Nexys is integrated with Inspired Flight IF800, it is not a primary recommendation for use with our system. Based on current product evaluations, the IF800 has constraints that can limit performance and mission suitability for our target use cases, specifically in accessing more constrained and windy environments.
