When capturing data in the field with Nexys, it's often helpful to have direct access to a post-processing suite of tools view ExynView for fast volumetric calculations or other deep dives into your dataset. However, not every scan is a one off.
Each surveyor has their own workflows, and often they're scanning an environment multiple times. Or need to process multiple datasets that can then be stitched together. And while it's convenient that ExynView can show real-time data and post-process data on the fly without needing to connect to the cloud, some operators want to collect data in the field then head back to the office for some batch processing.
Listening to customer feedback, our engineers created a batch post-processing app that ships with each tablet (and is installable to compatible laptops/PCs) to help conveniently process large numbers of logs without having to load them individually.
Better yet, the settings for each log can be customized before processing begins. So if one log needs to be georeferenced with GNSS data while another needs to be downsampled and colorized, operators can choose their settings and then let the app process the data.
These settings can also be saved and reloaded, so common workflows can be standardized across a large surveying team without worrying about secret settings getting lost in the sauce.
