Goldman Sachs Alumnus Dr. Shay Badie brings deep financial expertise to Exyn's Board to usher advanced autonomous robotics to new markets
Philadelphia & London – August 18, 2020 — Exyn Technologies (https://www.exyn.com), a pioneer in autonomous aerial robotics, today announced the addition of Dr. Shay Badie to the Board of Directors. With a PhD and Masters in Engineering both in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine and a robust background in financial services, Badie is poised to help Exyn navigate the company’s growth phase.
Dr. Shay Badie has over 19 years of financial services experience ranging across investments in public and private enterprises, corporate finance including structured and project finance, to financial markets including foreign exchange, interest rates and emerging markets. Currently a Partner at Centricus, and on the board of several of its investee companies, Badie was previously at Goldman Sachs.
Exyn has built successfully on its strong Penn’s GRASP laboratory foundations and pedigree to pioneer autonomous robotic solutions which will have strong and increasing applications to a wide range of commercial and governmental client bases. This financing is helping Exyn to propel its commercial growth plans, accelerate the development of its technology, and create innovative and practical offerings for customers.
